Tulip tracks all changes to your security application connections, whether they are made through a Tulip deployment or directly within the connected security application. Changes made outside of Tulip are captured through fetch operations, which retrieve the application account’s metadata either on a predefined schedule or manually.

All changes—regardless of how they were made—are accessible in Tulip’s 'History' page.

The 'Changes' tab provides a detailed view where you can:

  • View a complete list of all individual configuration changes, including additions, removals, and modifications across your connected security applications

  • Inspect detailed information for each change, including the modified elements, before-and-after values, the user who made the change, and the timestamp

  • Use filters to review the entire history for a specific element or group of elements, supporting forensics, root cause analysis, and audit processes

The 'Snapshots' tab provides a detailed view where you can:

  • Compare the current application configuration with a specific point in time from the Snapshots tab, and selectively restore elements to that state

  • Add meaningful titles and descriptions for changes made outside of Tulip, such as ticket IDs for audit and tracking purposes
