Tulip tracks all changes to your security application connections, whether they are made through a Tulip deployment or directly within the connected security application. Changes made outside of Tulip are captured through fetch operations, which retrieve the application account’s metadata either on a predefined schedule or manually.
All changes—regardless of how they were made—are accessible in Tulip’s 'History' page.
The 'Changes' tab provides a detailed view where you can:
View a complete list of all individual configuration changes, including additions, removals, and modifications across your connected security applications
Inspect detailed information for each change, including the modified elements, before-and-after values, the user who made the change, and the timestamp
Use filters to review the entire history for a specific element or group of elements, supporting forensics, root cause analysis, and audit processes
The 'Snapshots' tab provides a detailed view where you can:
Compare the current application configuration with a specific point in time from the Snapshots tab, and selectively restore elements to that state
Add meaningful titles and descriptions for changes made outside of Tulip, such as ticket IDs for audit and tracking purposes
