To fully harness the power of Tulip's security configuration management, the first step is connecting your security application to Tulip and fetching its configuration data (you can learn more about exploring it with Tulip here).
🛡️ Rest assured, your data is well-protected. Tulip provides a secure service that meets the highest industry standards and certifications, including SOC 2.
Fetch Frequency
Tulip's default setting is to fetch your application daily to ensure it shows your security application's recent configuration changes. This setting can be adjusted to meet your specific needs:
Go to 'Settings' in your Tulip application
Click on 'Edit' in the 'Fetch schedule' section
Select a frequency that aligns with your operational requirements.
Manual Fetch
Manual fetches are useful for obtaining the most recent configuration data, particularly before deployments and comparisons where it's crucial to see the most up-to-date source and target applications.
To manually trigger a fetch, open the Applications screen and click 'Fetch now' on the application’s connection card.
